My Summer Days

Terms of sale

Last updated 17 October 2026

Buying the full version of My Summer Days and credits for Daydream: what you get, prices and refunds. These terms are part of the Terms and conditions.

The short version

  • The full version is one payment, US$4.99 on the website or the store’s price in the apps, and it stays unlocked on your account.
  • New accounts get the full version free for 14 days. Nothing is charged when the trial ends.
  • Planning a trip uses 10 credits, and a change uses 1. The cost is shown before you ask.
  • Nothing is used if a request fails, or if you stop it while Daydream is still planning.
  • The full version comes with free credits every month. Bought credits don’t expire while your account is open.
  • The full version and credits aren’t refundable once you have them, except where the law gives you a right to a refund.
  • Apple handles refunds for purchases in the iPhone app, and Google Play for purchases in the Android app.

1.The full version

The full version adds these to the free version:

  • Daydream, with free credits every month, and buying more credits;
  • inviting people to plan a trip with you, and seeing their changes as they happen;
  • budgets and spending, To do lists and packing lists;
  • keeping whole trips and their files on your phone, for when there’s no signal;
  • the trip guide, and locking a trip;
  • as many files on a trip as you need, where the free version keeps 5.

It’s a single payment, not a subscription. Once bought, it stays unlocked for the account that bought it, on the website and in the apps, for as long as the account is open and we run My Summer Days. It can’t be moved to another account.

On a trip whose owner has the full version, everyone on the trip can use that trip’s budget, lists and files, and the owner can invite people. Daydream, buying credits, the trip guide and keeping trips on your phone depend on your own version, as the Terms and conditions explain.

2.The free trial

  • A new account gets the full version free for 14 days, starting when the account is made.
  • You don’t give payment details for it, and nothing is charged when it ends. The account then has the free version.
  • Buying credits needs the full version itself, so it isn’t possible during the trial.
  • If you buy the full version during the trial, it stays when the trial ends.
  • One trial per person. Making new accounts to get another isn’t allowed.

3.Buying the full version

On the website, the full version costs US$4.99, including any tax that applies where you live. Your bank may charge a fee to pay in US dollars. Stripe takes the payment for us, and Webnify Limited is the seller.

In the iPhone app, you buy it from Apple, at the price Apple shows in your currency, and Apple’s terms apply to the payment. In the Android app, you buy it through Google Play, at the price Google Play shows in your currency, and Google Play’s terms apply to the payment.

A purchase in the app is linked to the account you’re signed in to when you buy. If it doesn’t unlock, or you’re on a new phone, sign in to the same account and use Restore purchase in the app. A purchase made with one account can’t unlock another.

4.What credits buy

RequestCredits
Plan a trip10, or 20 for a trip over 14 nights
Change a trip or a draft1, or 10 if it adds or removes a stop or changes the trip’s dates
Answer one of Daydream’s questionsFree
Apply, discard or restore a versionFree

The cost is shown before you ask. If your dates are flexible and the plan comes out longer than 14 nights, or a change turns out to add or remove a stop or change the dates, the extra credits are used at that point. If you don’t have them, the request stops and nothing is used.

5.Free monthly credits

  • Daydream and its free monthly credits come with the full version, including during the trial. They need a confirmed email address. The amount is shown in Settings and may change.
  • They’re used before bought credits.
  • They reset at midnight UTC on the 1st of each month, and unused ones don’t carry over.
  • One allowance per person. Opening extra accounts, or opening new ones, to get more isn’t allowed.
  • They may be paused when demand is high, and they have no cash value.

6.Buying credits

You can buy credits once you have the full version. On the website, they come in these packs:

  • 100 credits for $3.99 (US dollars)
  • 250 credits for $5.99 (US dollars)
  • 600 credits for $12.99 (US dollars)

Website prices include any tax that applies where you live. Your bank may charge a fee to pay in US dollars. Stripe takes the payment for us, and Webnify Limited is the seller.

In the iPhone app, you buy from Apple, at the price Apple shows in your currency, and Apple’s terms apply to the payment. In the Android app, you buy through Google Play, at the price Google Play shows in your currency, and Google Play’s terms apply to the payment.

Bought credits don’t expire while your account is open, and credits from the website and the app share one balance. They can’t be transferred to another account or exchanged for money.

7.When credits are used

  • Credits are held when you ask, and used when Daydream delivers the plan or change.
  • If a request fails, times out or is refused, or you stop it while Daydream is still planning, the credits come back.
  • Once a new trip’s whole plan is on the board, it counts as delivered. It finishes, and its credits are used, even if you press Stop.
  • Credits for a plan or change you don’t keep or apply aren’t returned.
  • While Daydream waits for your answer to a question, the credits stay held. They come back if you remove the draft, or if you haven’t answered within 30 days.

8.Refunds

The full version and credits aren’t refundable once you have them, except where the law gives you a right to a refund. When you buy, you ask for the full version to be unlocked, or the credits to be added, straight away.

  • If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. Because you ask for the full version or the credits straight away, and agree to this at checkout, you can’t cancel once it’s unlocked or they’re added.
  • If you live in New Zealand, the Consumer Guarantees Act applies, and nothing here limits your rights under it. Consumer law elsewhere may give you rights too, and these terms don’t limit them.
  • If something went wrong with a purchase, such as being charged twice, or the full version or credits not arriving, email us at support@mysummerdays.app and we’ll put it right.
  • Apple handles refunds for purchases made in the iPhone app. Ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Google Play handles refunds for purchases made in the Android app, under its refund policies. Ask for one from your order history at play.google.com, or email us if Google Play can’t help.

A refund or chargeback of the full version takes it off the account. If the refund is reversed or the chargeback is decided in our favour, it comes back.

A refund or chargeback of credits takes back the credits from that purchase. If some were already used, they’re taken from your other credits, and any shortfall is paid from your next credits before Daydream can be used again.

9.Closing your account, or closing the service

  • If you delete your account, its credits and its full version are deleted with it and aren’t refunded. You’re warned before you confirm.
  • If we close your account because you broke our terms, its bought credits and its full version are lost, except where the law says otherwise.
  • If we close Daydream, we’ll email you at least 30 days before, and refund the bought credits you haven’t used.
  • If we close My Summer Days, we’ll email you at least 30 days before. The full version lasts for as long as we run the service.

10.Prices and mistakes

We may change prices and credit costs. A change never applies to a purchase you’ve already made. If the full version or a pack is sold at an obviously wrong price, we may cancel the purchase and refund it.

Daydream’s suggestions can be wrong. Check opening hours, travel times and bookings before you go, as the Terms and conditions explain.
